Supporting partners: Eventbrite & Foodora
The Amsterdam Dance Event’s (ADE) exclusive kitchen galore traditionally kick-started the ADE business week with another friendly, but competitive battle. For this edition we’ve set up partnerships with Eventbrite and Foodora.
The ADE Cook Off
ADE’s very hyped intimate b2b dinner traditionally kick-starts the 5-day event on Wednesday. Taking place at Keizer Culinair, a cooking school near ADE’s main conference, it’s a fun but competitive cooking battle in which 5 cooks (DJs) are competing for the prestigious title ‘best dish’. Every cook gets to invite 15 guests and has their own chef’s table and ADE invites its close relations on top, which results in a unique blend of attendees.
Kölsch on par with Seth Troxler after third consecutive victory
Defending champion Kölsch had a hard time keeping off this year’s challengers Ellen Allien, Eats Everything, Lauren Lo Sung and DJ Sa, but managed to continue his victorious strike by presenting the best dish for the third consecutive year. Seth Troxler, previous triple time winner, took seat in this year’s professional jury along with Dave Clarke and Shailendra Singh. Previous participants of the ADE Cook Off are amongst others: Laidback Luke, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Dubfire, Joris Voorn, Kolsch, Arthur Baker, Boy George, Tommie Sunshine and Miss Nine.
Eventbrite & Foodora
The world’s largest self-service ticketing platform showcased their technology by focusing on the invitation & hospitality process, making sure that the attendees were invited and checked-in flawlessly. Global food delivery service Foodora exclusively delivered the winning dish to a lucky customer, which could be ordered in-app.
